The Dub - Your Go-To Bar for Women's sports

We are The Dub, the mighty mighty DUB!

Welcome to The Dub your local sports bar dedicated to prioritizing women’s sports. At The Dub, we are creating a space in KC where ALL fans of women’s sports can come together in a safe and inclusive environment to cheer on their favorite teams and athletes. We want to contribute to a world where women’s sports and female athletes receive the recognition they deserve and create a culture for it! 

At The Dub, you can watch your favorite women's sports while sipping on domestic and craft beers, handmade cocktails, delicious and affordable mocktails, or a glass of wine from our curated wine list. Snack on our flatbreads, nachos, hot sandwiches, and other tasty options while you watch those buckets, goals, and tries turn into dubs for your favorite teams. 

We have our location, now it's time to get to work opening it! The outpouring of support thus far has been incredible, and we are so grateful, but let's be honest, starting a business isn't easy...or cheap. Contributing your hard-earned dollar will help us bring The Dub to life. If we don't reach our goal, it will delay our opening, and we really don't want that, team! The funds will be used for essential startup costs including renovations, bar and kitchen equipment, and inventory (all those delicious bevies mentioned above!).

Here's the playbook:

• Every donation matters to us! We believe those who are able to give, give what they are able. We are grateful no matter what!
• We will contact all contributors via email regarding t-shirt sizes (if applicable) and how to receive your Inaugural Team swag at a later date.  
• The denoted values are benchmarks to clear...donate within the range and you'll get the swag!
  • Example: Donate $150 and you still get all the swag associated with the YAY, SPORTS! level (and you get extra karma points for donating the extra 50 buckaroos)
• Perhaps you don't live locally, but you'd like to donate and gift your Player Swag to someone...we're happy to allow that transfer before the initial delivery of swag. 
• Donations $2,500+ can contact us directly at hello@thedubkc.com to ask about alternative ways to donate to avoid fees if that is of concern to you.
• Donations of $10,000 must contact us directly.
